Nancy was born in a lower-middle class family in Barnawa village of Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father, Gajendra Singh worked as a television technician in the village and her mother, Maya Tyagi was employed in the coal factory. She also has a younger brother named Manu Tyagi. She is very close to her mother and brother. Nancy faced so many challenges in her childhood as her family’s financial condition was not good. She spent her childhood at her maternal uncle’s house which is in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
